Training and awareness-raising
We seek to promote awareness and zero tolerance of violence against women through poster and media campaigns locally, regionally and nationally as well as linking in with statutory community and voluntary agencies. Training, education and awareness-raising sessions on domestic violence are provided for women’s groups; schools; community, voluntary and professional groups. These can be organised by contacting the office. Our quarterly publication, the “West Cork Whisper” covers issues of domestic violence, and gives information on services and activities locally, regionally and nationally.
