A Support Worker is available each Tuesday from 10am to 4pm (helpline day). Women can ring the helpline on other days as a Support Worker may be available in the office. This Support Worker will listen and will provide information on the broad range of issues and options that are available to you. You can choose from this information and tailor it to your own needs and requirements. In some instances, women make the decision to remain within the relationship. The West Cork Women Against Violence Project offer on-going support regardless of a woman’s choices.
Referrals are also made to other agencies that may assist women.
